Creating Opportunities Through Apprenticeships
We are deeply committed to supporting young people into meaningful employment and long-term careers.
Our apprenticeship programme is not just part of what we do – it’s part of who we are. We believe that talent is everywhere, and opportunity should be too. That’s why we actively create pathways into the IT industry for young people who may otherwise struggle to gain that first step.
Many of our apprentices go on to build successful careers within L.E.A.D. IT Services, growing into highly skilled engineers, consultants, and leaders. We invest in their development, support their ambitions, and give them the confidence to succeed.

Supporting Our Community
Derby Kids’ Camp
Derby Kids’ Camp provides life-changing residential holiday experiences for children who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
Our commitment runs deep. Members of the L.E.A.D. IT team are directly involved in the charity’s leadership and delivery, including:
- Charity President
- Trustee and Operational Management roles
- Camp leadership
- Volunteer residential holiday volunteers
- Hands-on support for camp builds and logistics
Alongside this, we actively fundraise and provide ongoing support to ensure the charity can continue delivering unforgettable experiences for local children.
Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre
This incredible organisation offers seaside holidays to disadvantaged children from Derbyshire, giving them experiences many would never otherwise have.
L.E.A.D. IT supports the charity through:
- Governance involvement
- Ongoing fundraising efforts
We are proud to play a role in helping create positive, lasting memories for young people who deserve them most.
Derby County Community Trust
As the charitable arm of Derby County Football Club, the Community Trust delivers impactful programmes that improve health, education and wellbeing across the region.
L.E.A.D. IT is proud to be the headline sponsor of the Derby 10K Fun Run, supporting an event that brings the community together while raising vital funds for important causes.
YMCA Derbyshire
Supporting vulnerable individuals and those facing homelessness, Derby YMCA provides essential services and safe spaces for those in need.
Our team regularly volunteers their time to:
- Cook and provide meals for service users
- Support the charity’s day-to-day work
It’s a simple but meaningful way we can give back and support people in our local community.
